This summer, VH1 is bringing a southern-fried tale of struggle, love and temptation to Atlanta, Georgia with an all new season of “Love And Hip Hop.”
Premiering June 18 at 8PM, VH1?s docu-soap “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” proves love, music and the game know no boundaries.
As the newest installment in the successful “Love And Hip Hop” franchise, “Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta” will feature an all new cast with their eyes on the prize of fortune, fame and family.
Among the main characters in this 10-episode series are Stevie J, a three-time Grammy Award-Winning producer who has worked with artists such as Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, Stevie’s longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, and a fiery up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline.
There’s no shortage of drama with this strong-willed trio. Also featured are Lil Scrappy, best known for his 2006 smash hit, “Money in the Bank,” his girlfriend Erica Dixon, and his mother, a former hustler known as “Momma Dee.”
The hometown hero, Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, is still searching for that big hit after years in the hip hop game, but she’s constantly at odds with her manager Kirk Frost – who also happens to be her husband. Rounding out the cast are the talented songbird K Michelle, and Trinidadian R&B singer Karlie Redd.

Kardashian Krazy!!!!!!!!!

It seems the gorgeous Ms. Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce a mere 72 days of marriage to professional basketball player Kris Humphries, previously from the University of Minnesota ( Shout out to the Big Ten and OSU GO BUCKS)!

This rapid turn of events from the story-book wedding and love story depicted on her hit show; have her and her notoriously famous family in a whirlwind catastrophe.  It could be the reason why the E! Network might be discontinuing “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

According to reports, the alleged faux marriage has gotten Tyler Perry fans and other former Kardashian followers in an uproar about her role in upcoming film, “The Marriage Counselor.” Many have protested her being in the movie with little avail. It turns out she’s thru shooting her part in the upcoming film. So angered patrons are proposing to boycott her reality series.

“In a grass roots effort, we have collected [thousands of] signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming,” boycott organizer Cyndy Snider said in a statement. 

“We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption,” the statement read.

The petition has actually collected over 10,000 signatures.

As the anger rages on, naysayers are pushing for the fall of Ms. Kardashian, proclaiming her fame is nothing more than a sham, an accident since her name didn’t really come up in public until the Ray J sex tapes emerged.

But in all seriousness, aren’t there more important things to sign petitions for? Just saying.
